Last weekend at McGill CDE, we hosted our in-person course “Cone-Beam Computed Tomography in Dental Practice”, led by Dr. Didem Dagdeviren (DDS, MSc, PhD, ABOMR, FRCD(c)). The program marked an engaging start to a comprehensive learning experience focused on CBCT technology and its role in modern diagnosis and treatment planning. 🦷

Dr. Dagdeviren delivered clear, evidence-based instruction on the principles and clinical applications of CBCT, guiding participants through indications, protocols, and interpretation with clarity and precision. 🎓
From foundational concepts in 3D imaging to hands-on training with CBCT acquisition and image analysis software, the course offered practical guidance that supports confident, compliant, and effective use of CBCT in daily practice.

Yesterday at McGill CDE, we hosted the course "Advances in Guided Bone Regeneration" with Dr. David Kim from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. The course brought an outstanding day of learning focused on techniques, challenges, and clinical applications that support stronger outcomes in implant dentistry. 🦷

Dr. David Kim delivered clear, practical insights rooted in clinical experience and current evidence, giving participants valuable tools to apply in their daily workflows. 🎓

From biomaterial selection to complication management and case-based discussions, the session offered meaningful guidance that supports confident decision-making.

Throwback to September 27, 2025, when we hosted Mastering Modern Periodontics with Dr. Ilay Maden. Participants explored how Er:YAG and Nd:YAG lasers support more precise and patient-friendly periodontal therapy, bringing new levels of efficiency to everyday clinical practice.
The session blended lectures, interactive discussions, hands-on exercises, and case-based learning to strengthen both surgical and non-surgical skills. 🎓

From laser-tissue interactions to photoacoustic irrigation cleaning techniques and advanced ridge preservation methods, the program offered practical guidance that clinicians could integrate into their workflows. 💡

On September 20-21, 2025, we hosted Tunneling 360°: Recession and Soft Tissue Management at Teeth and Implants – From Theory to Practice. Over two days, participants enjoyed a full-day lecture followed by an intensive hands-on session, diving deep into advanced techniques and practical applications.

A heartfelt thank you to our outstanding speaker, Dr. Vincent Ronco (DDS, MSc, PG in Periodontology and Implantology), for leading such an excellent lecture and hands-on. 👏

We are also grateful to Dr. Thomas Nguyen, Director of McGill CDE, for his continued support, and to our partners Hu-Friedy (material support) and Desjardins (educational grant), who made this program possible.
