Dr Malloch would like to welcome Dr Marijana Primorac to WestEnd Dental.

Dr Marijana is a graduate of the University of Toronto and has over 15 years of dental experience. Dr Marijana will be the new owner and full time dentist at WestEnd and she is very excited to meet all of our wonderful patients.

Dr Malloch will be enjoying a well deserved rest but will still be working 2 days a week.

All the wonderful staff at WestEnd would like to welcome Dr Marijana and are here to help her settle in.

If you’re pregnant you may have already noticed that your gums are a little more sensitive. They may bleed when you brush and floss, or look red, irritated or swollen. This is called

Pregnancy gingivitis usually begins in the first trimester and eases off in the third. It is due to the increase in the hormone Progesterone, which is also responsible for gum irritation during puberty and menstruation. If your gums were inflamed prior to pregnancy, you are at a higher risk for Pregnancy Gingivitis.

Optimal oral health is so important during pregnancy. Your oral health impacts your overall wellness as well as your baby’s health. Having your dental checkup and regular cleanings can keep your gums and teeth in tip top shape. Brush twice a day and don’t skip flossing once a day!

We are contacting all of patients scheduled for today and will reopen tomorrow at 11:30.
