What should you look for in a dentist? Most people Google "dentist near me" and pick the closest one — but that’s not always the best choice.

At Huron Dental Centre, Dr. Anam Hann says 3 things matter most:

Experience in real situations — treating dental trauma in emergency rooms and caring for patients with complex needs. When something unexpected happens, you want someone who’s been there.

Education that matters — DDS with Honors from University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry, trained by some of the best dentists in the country.

Someone who listens — understanding your worries, needs, and smile goals before recommending anything.

That’s the standard we hold every day at Huron Dental Centre. Located at 2000 Credit Valley Rd Unit 102, Mississauga,
, we’ve served Mississauga families since 2013 with family, emergency, and gentle care for anxious patients.

Looking for a Mississauga dentist who listens first? Your dentist in Mississauga is welcoming new patients. Call 855-393-0900 to book.

Funny patient excuses to cancel their dentist appointment 😂 Our front desk has heard them ALL:

"I forgot, didn't see the text, email, or voicemail"
"I started sneezing, can't open my mouth"
"It's going to snow tomorrow"
"I thought that was just a suggestion"
"I can't afford it right now"
"Hair, nail, and lash emergency"

We get it — life happens! At Huron Dental Centre, your Mississauga dentist, we just ask for a quick heads up so we can give your spot to another patient.

Your dentist in Mississauga who makes rescheduling stress-free.

Have you ever used one of these? 😅

When should my child first see the dentist?

Dr. Anam Hann says: "As soon as the first tooth comes in or when they're one year old."

At Huron Dental Centre, we encourage you to bring kids in sooner rather than later — just so they get comfortable being in a dental office.

First visit? We often don't even do anything. We have a nice chat, sit on the chair, take them for a roller coaster ride, and introduce Mr. Slurpee (our suction), the mirror, and the magic light.

It's all about getting them used to the environment, checking for early cavities, and keeping track.
