This patient completed orthodontic treatment and had bonding done elsewhere. She was unhappy with the symmetry, and also the gap between the central and the lateral.

We removed the previous work and carefully placed composite. 2 visits were needed to get the right shape and polish

She was thrilled as to how natural and seamless they look.

Sometimes less is more- and a beautiful smile may just require some minor adjustments than full coverage composite veneers. Let natural beauty shine the brightest 😍

This patient came to us unhappy with her crossbite and her small teeth. She wanted a completely natural look. We corrected her bite, discussed options about placing her leg laterals in the correct position for her future composite bonding. I wish I took a before Invisalign picture 🫣

After Invisalign and the whitening, we closed her black triangles between the centrals, gave her two indirect direct composite veneers and provided her a less sharp looking canines to complement her calmer personality.

The less teeth we do, the more important it is to find a harmonious blend of composite colors.

All this was done with zero shaving. You literally can't tell if there was composite work done, and the polish means it should last her a long time.

This is not your regular case. this patient had a history of drinking mountain Dew and poor oral hygiene. We decided to build this patient from the ground up. We discussed the importance of good oral hygiene, and how important it was that going forward, he takes care of his teeth.

With extreme care- we rebuilt his teeth using multiple shades of composite resin. It took many appointments, and many times the cavities just kept wrapping around the tooth.

These kind of cases aren't the sexiest, but they are so feel good 🧘😌 He's getting jaw surgery, and then orthodontic work to correct his bite

What's more satisfying is that he's taking better care of his teeth, his confidence is growing, and he's excited to see the results of jaw surgery and orthodontics.

Can't wait to see the development of this handsome fella. Feel happy to be part of his journey, and sorry to the orthodontist who may feel confused why the brackets keep falling off 😆

It took many appointments, and many times the cavities just kept wrapping around the tooth. You can see in the last picture, we had to utilize special techniques to isolate and ensure the environment was suitable for fillings, as our patient had a heavy gag reflex.

These were 10 direct indirect composite veneers for dear Amy. Always an honor to have an assistant give you the opportunity to do work on them- given they see you doing work daily.

We built these up in a bleach shade and then the following events required me to add some natural effects.

Teeth can be bleach white but still look natural. We have a much higher demand for Natural looking teeth now than the chicklet white- and it's so much more pleasant on the eye 🫣

Sometimes patients have high esthetic demands for a fractured tooth. This patient came in for an emergency appointment. I actually built this in a rush in one shade first appointment and got a nice framework. Then I brought him back 2nd appointment and added some tints and natural effects to bring the repair work to life. Patient couldn't believe that this was composite 😆

This patient completed ortho work and wanted to close some gaps between the central and lateral incisors, fix some edges and close the black triangle space between the central incisors.

I advised we utilize some added length by providing a gum lift, some whitening and some natural bonding.

Based on these pictures- I would love to see her back so I can open up the central embrasures to match the original teeth's line angles. I always try to follow the original contours of the teeth.

Either way- the patient was so happy she could have longer teeth, reduce her gummy smile, have them whitened, and fix the edges without any shaving. 😎

This patient was unhappy with the spaces between her teeth. Using carefully chosen composite shades ( next slide), I performed indirect direct composite veneers which will last even longer than regular composite veneers. We also did some bonding on the Central to improve their contours.

I can't wait for her recall visit to show you guys some better closeups of this case ( with less saliva and healthier lips 😜)

This patient wanted to wait a bit longer for an implant and wanted a long term solution, that didn't involving shaving her tooth down ie, a dental bridge. I gave her the option of a resin fibre bonded bridge. She loves it so much she may not get the implant 🙃

With this sort of bridge, the missing tooth (pontic) is bonded to the back of the neighboring teeth with a piece of fiber ( which acts like a suspension bridge). This allows some flexibility during function, and involves zero shaving. Awesome!
