Let’s talk about something that rarely gets brought up: menopause and your teeth.

As estrogen levels shift during perimenopause and menopause, your mouth goes through changes, too.
You might notice:
✅Dry mouth (which makes cavities sneak in faster!)
✅A burning feeling or unexpected changes in taste
✅Gums that bleed, swell, or feel extra sensitive
✅Bone loss around your teeth and higher risk of gum disease
The good news? You don’t just have to live with the discomfort.

At Milton Dental Hub, we adapt your care to match the stage of life you’re in. If your mouth feels different lately, bring it up at your next visit! We’ll tweak your routine and find real solutions to keep your smile comfortable and strong.

💡 WEDNESDAY WISDOM: Your best dental defense starts on your plate!

When we think about oral hygiene, we usually think about brushing and flossing, but what you eat plays a massive role in keeping your smile strong!
Foods that love your teeth: Cheese, yogurt, and almonds help replenish the minerals in your enamel.
Crunchy veggies like carrots and celery act like natural toothbrushes, stimulating saliva production to wash away food particles.
Water is the ultimate rinse to clear out bacteria after a meal.

⚠️ Foods to watch out for: Sugary treats and acidic drinks feed the bacteria that cause enamel erosion and decay.

Small changes in your daily diet can have a massive impact on your smile!

📅 Need a routine check-up to ensure your enamel is staying strong? Give us a call or stop by the clinic! 📞 (905) 876-7228 📍 420 Bronte St. S #103, Milton, ON

We had to jump on the trend … but in all seriousness

Everyone thinks cavities always hurt.
Reality: Cavities can exist without any pain at all.
By the time a cavity starts causing pain, it may already be larger and require more extensive treatment.
Regular dental exams help us find cavities early, when they are easier to treat and before they become a bigger problem.
If it has been a while since your last checkup, this is your reminder to book one.
