Cavity causing bacteria LOVE carbs.

A lot of people don't realize that frequently snacking on processed foods can increase their chance of tooth decay! This is particularly true for people who suffer from dry mouth.

In additional to snack food, blended and soft foods are more likely to increase your chance of having cavities than whole foods!

Pro tip: drink water throughout the day and with/after meals to reduce how much cavity causing acid your teeth are exposed to limit/avoid tooth decay.

➡️ For effective brushing, use a soft or extra-soft brush and gently massage your teeth, letting the bristles reach just below the gumline 😇

➡️ Apply light pressure—think of it like wiping a foggy mirror, not scrubbing a dirty floor 🧼

➡️ If you can’t ease up, try an electric toothbrush. The vibrating or spinning action is gentler on your gums and enamel than aggressive brushing 😬
