We know that these are difficult times for us all. Our health and wellbeing is our first priority. But we can all use a break from the news and something to occupy our minds… so we thought of ways you can help support your favourite small businesses (like ours!) during these times and without leaving home:⁣

Most businesses use their social media channels to engage with their audience and share promotions and news, but small businesses don’t often receive a lot of exposure on Instagram. When you see a post, like it! If you have a minute, leave a comment or share it! ⁣

𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰! ⁣
You’ve probably searched Google… read the reviews, and gone to a business. Many small businesses rely on the power of positive reviews, whether it be on Facebook or Google. A simple way to leave a review is to search for the business (on Google maps for example), then leave a review describing your experience and maybe even thanking the business. We have left a link to our Google page on our home page, in case you’re feeling inspired… ⁣

For e-commerce shops, supporting them is sometimes as simple as buying something from them. If it’s a restaurant, you can always purchase a gift card to use or to gift. ⁣

We’ve all heard it and we may even have seen ‘s . “Wash those hands well, even parts we may sometimes not pay attention to.”
Most of us have probably washed our hands (and our kids’ hands) so many times daily, we’ve lost count. ⁣
⁣
But there seem to be some encouraging news. For example, some news outlets are sharing that cases are on the decline in parts of Asia. We are grateful for any good news these days!⁣

The last few weeks have brought some new terms into our everyday language. And they are still changing, day-by-day. ⁣⁣

For example, instead of Social Distancing, some now prefer the term “Physical Distancing.”⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Whichever term we use, now is the time to take these instructions seriously. Let’s all do our part and as much as possible, except to leave for necessities or for a walk outdoors (maintaining a 2 m distance from others). ⁣⁣

If you’ve recently returned from travel, please ensure you remain for a full 14 days. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣

Since 2013, March 20th has been designated as International Happiness Day by the United Nations and all its member states, including Canada. We hope that today you will do what makes you 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲, despite our current state of Social Distancing. ⁣

We can still even when there is uncertainty in the world. ⁣

We were lucky enough to decorate the office and celebrate with our amazing team a little early this year. 😊⁣
And while this year’s St. Patrick’s Day may look a little different, there’s no reason we can’t continue the celebrations at home! 🎉⁣⁣
⁣🍀 🍀 🍀⁣
1. Make an Irish feast (bangers & mash anyone?)⁣⁣
⁣⁣
2. Enjoy a bowl of Lucky Charms (but remember to brush your teeth after!) 🦷⁣⁣
⁣⁣
3. Bake some green treats (just add some green food colouring to your cookie icing!)⁣⁣
⁣⁣
4. Play some fun board games with those you live with, or a virtual game over FaceTime⁣⁣
⁣⁣
5. Make your own green drink or milkshake!! ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
And most importantly, please remember to follow the guidelines set out by Public Health and practice good hygiene (lots of hand washing!)! 🧼🚿⁣⁣
