Why do we recognize Labour Day?

Labour Day has been recognized in Canada for more than 130 years, with its roots in the labour movement and the fight for fairer working conditions, including shorter working hours.

Today, it’s also an opportunity to recognize the people whose work keeps our communities moving, caring, building, growing and thriving.

Our team at Maidstone Dental will be taking the day away from the clinic to enjoy some well-earned time with family and friends.

We’ll be closed for Labour Day and look forward to welcoming you back when we reopen.
