A nice case today. Notice the lateral canal towards the furcation in the CBCT scan as well as the buccal exit of the palatal canal. Laser assisted irrigation help cleaning the lateral canal and the palatal canal filled with a MTA plug followed by Bioceramic sealer and GP. Looking forward the upcoming recall…

Severe apical curve in the last 2mm of the MB canal. The tip of a WG20 separated in the curve during instrumentation. I was able to bypass the file with K-10. Applied laser assisted irrigation (LAI) hoping to clean the apical third of the canal. On our cone fitting we noticed the file was removed (not extruded)! The canals were filled and notice the almost 90 degree curve.

Skypulse - Week 1
Case was referred because RD couldn’t negotiate the mesial canals beyond certain length. Using SWEEPS was able to negotiate them and even clean lateral canals at the apical third.

Introducing the new addition to our armamentarium. The Fotona Skypulse® Er:YAG and Diode laser. It will assist us in root canal disinfection, endodontic surgery, photobiomodulation, pain management, photodynamic therapy, intraoral photocoagulation and hemostasis.
