Cheer on our local athletes !!!

We’re proud to share that three elite local athletes will be representing Kawartha Lakes at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Olivia Apps is captaining the Women’s Rugby Sevens team, Emma Wright is captaining the Women’s Water Polo team and Jill Moffatt is rowing in the Lightweight Women’s Double Sculls event.

“We’re very proud to have Olivia, Jill and Emma represent Kawartha Lakes at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Their dedication and life-long commitment to sport and competition is inspiring. I have no doubt that the youth in Kawartha Lakes will watch them compete at the Olympics and come away knowing that one day they could do so too. DENTAL RECEPTIONIST REQUIRED - FULL TIME (Monday to Friday)

We are seeking a skilled and professional Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth flow of operations in the dental office.

Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
- Verify insurance coverage and process patient payments
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing
- Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
- Manage inventory of office supplies and order new supplies when necessary
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

Skills:
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in using dental office software is an asset (AbelDent, Recall Max)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Experience with front desk operations in a medical or dental office setting
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling patient inquiries
