Dear Valued Patients
Our priority has always been the safety of our patients and keeping a transparent channel of communication. The Covid-19 pandemic issue is changing day by day and we want to provide you with the latest updates on this outbreak. As a dental clinic, we are all trained in infection control and we have always taken extraordinary measures to keep our work environment beyond the standards set by the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia. All our staff take extraordinary measures and will avoid coming to work if they are not feeling well or have travelled outside of Canada. They will take a mandatory 14 day self-isolation to insure that we have a healthy working environment.
As you may have heard, on March 13th, 2020, The Public Health Agency of Canada issued a recommendation that anyone returning from travel outside of Canada (international) within the last 14 days to stay home and practice self-isolation. In addition, the WHO recommends washing your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds and maintaining social distancing of at least one meter. These measures are essential to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
If you have returned from international travel (even to the US) please let us know so we can assist you with your next appointment or any emergencies.
Our dental office is probably the safest place to be in these uncertain times and we will continue to monitor these changes on a daily basis to provide a safe environment to our patients and staff. We thank you for allowing us to treat you in a safe environment and look forward to seeing you at our office.
