Happy Thanksgiving from Redwoods Dental! 🍁🌲

This time of year always feels like a reminder to slow down and appreciate the good stuff. We're grateful for our incredible patients, for the community we get to be part of, and honestly, for a job that lets us make a real difference to people's lives every day.

Enjoy the long weekend. See you back soon! 😊

October is National Dental Hygiene Month. Redwoods Dental celebrates every year. 🌲🦷

Here's the angle we want to take this month: dental hygiene is not just about avoiding cavities. It's about protecting enamel you can never get back, catching gum disease before it becomes permanent bone loss, and keeping your mouth as healthy as possible for as long as possible.

The two-minute brush and daily floss aren't just habits. They're investments. 😊

Happy BC Day from Redwoods Dental! 🌲

If there was ever a long weekend made for getting outdoors, this is it. Hit the trails, breathe in that BC air, and come back refreshed.

We'll be here when you're back. Enjoy every second! ☀️

Happy National Avocado Day! 🥑🌲

We love avocados because they're one of those rare foods that genuinely pull their weight for your oral health:

🥑 Folate for gum tissue health
🥑 Vitamin C to fight inflammation
🥑 Fibre that keeps your saliva working
🥑 Healthy fats that help your body process the vitamins your teeth need

So go full avocado this week. Your mouth is rooting for you. 😄

National Ice Cream Day and National Fortune Cookie Day. 🍦🥠

Your dental fortune for today:
🥠 "Great things are growing at Redwoods Dental. Your smile is one of them."

And a quick note: if ice cream makes your teeth hurt, that's sensitivity worth looking at. It's one of the most common and most treatable issues we see. Don't just live with it! 🌲🦷

Redwoods parents, quick question. 👀

Has your child been to the dentist in the last six months? If you had to think about it for more than a second, the answer is probably no, and that's okay! Summer is actually one of the best times to sort it out.

No school schedule to navigate, kids are more relaxed, and we can make sure those teeth are in great shape before the new school year starts. 🙌🦷
