As some of you have noticed, we have a new dentist at the office since a few weeks! Here’s a quick introduction of Dr. Georgia Limniatis:

Dr. Georgia Limniatis earned her Ph.D. in cancer biochemistry from McGill University in 2020, where she focused her research on the treatment of chemoresistant cancers and published several papers on the subject. She worked as a clinical specialist in otolaryngology at Medtronic and then returned to school to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from McGill University in 2026, where she trained under some of Quebec’s most talented dentists and specialists. This transition allowed her to pursue a career that combines her passion for research with direct patient care.
She received her Canadian dental license after passing the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB-BNED) exam, as well as a U.S. license from the American Dental Association (ADA) after passing the Integrated National Board Dental Examination (INBDE). She is a member of the Ordre des Dentistes du Québec (ODQ) and the Association des Chirurgiens Dentistes du Québec (ACDQ).
She provides a range of general dentistry treatments and strives to help patients who feel anxious at the dentist. Her passions: her family and good movies!

Comme certains d'entre vous l'ont remarqué, nous avons une nouvelle dentiste au cabinet depuis quelques semaines! Voici une brève présentation de Dre Georgia Limniatis :

Dre. Georgia Limniatis a obtenu son doctorat Ph.D. en biochimie du cancer de l’Université McGill en 2020, où elle a fait des études axées sur le traitement des cancers chimiorésistants et a réussi à publier plusieurs articles sur ce sujet. Elle a travaillé comme spécialiste clinique en ORL à Medtronic, et est ensuite retournée aux études afin d’obtenir un doctorat en médecine dentaire de l’Université McGill en 2026, où elle a appris auprès de certains des dentistes et spécialistes les plus talentueux du Québec. Cette transition lui a permis d’exercer une profession qui combine sa passion pour la recherche et le travail direct avec les patients.
Elle a reçu son diplôme dentaire canadien après avoir passé l’examen du Bureau National d’Examen Dentaire du Canada (NDEB-BNED), ainsi qu’un diplôme américan de l’Association Dentaire Américaine (ADA) après avoir réussi l’examen « Integrated National Board Dental Examination (INBDE) ». Elle est membre de l’Ordre des Dentistes du Québec (ODQ) et de l’Association des Chirurgiens Dentistes du Québec (ACDQ).
Elle fournit différents traitements de dentisterie générale, et s'efforce d'aider les patients qui sont anxieux chez le dentiste. Ses passions: sa famille et les bons films!

The International College of Dentists (ICD) is the world’s oldest and largest international dental honor society. It recognizes dentists who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement, leadership, service to the profession, and humanitarian and philanthropic contributions.

Being inducted as a Fellow of the ICD is considered a significant professional honor, as it is by invitation only. We are humbled and deeply grateful to have been nominated by our peers for our contributions to the field of ankyloglossia (tongue-tie) management and treatment, oral myofunctional therapy, and dento-facial orthopedics.

Our vision has always been deeply rooted into functional and physiologic dentistry. This is a great milestone for us, but definitely not the end, and will only fuel us to continue our mission to be on the cutting-edge of care for orthodontics and dento-facial orthopedics, oral myofunctional therapy, and ankyloglossia treatment.
