Lucy will tell you - there's no single "favourite moment" in dental lab work. Every case is different. But there's one type of case that hits differently every time: the picky patient.

The one who's had multiple conversations with the dentist. Who knows exactly what they want and won't settle for close enough. Who's been back and forth before anything gets approved.

And then the final result comes back. And they smile.

Linda was a nervous child at the dentist. She cried a lot. It was hard on her and her mom. 💙

But as she got older, she had a thought: what if she could help other kids - and other people - get through their appointments and actually feel comfortable? What if that was her calling?

It was. And her favourite part of dental assisting, to this day, is making people feel at ease and leaving with a good experience.

That kind of empathy can't be taught. It comes from having been there.

When someone comes in for a surgery that involves sedation, implants, or a full arch transformation, they're scared. They don't know exactly what's going to happen. They're worried about the procedure, the healing, the unknown - and no amount of explaining fully takes that away.
