🚧 A quick heads-up for our patients!
There is currently construction and a road closure along Burtch Road near Parkinson Recreation Centre.
Southbound Burtch Road between Kelglen Crescent and Bernard Avenue is expected to remain closed until August 21, so you may need to take an alternate route when coming to see us.
If you have an upcoming appointment, we recommend giving yourself a few extra minutes to get here.

Please note that Burtch Dental will be closed on Monday, August 3rd for BC Day.

After decades of caring for his patients and our community, Dr. Terry Grover has officially retired as of Monday, July 13.

While it’s the end of an incredible chapter, it’s also the beginning of an exciting new one. We couldn’t be happier for Dr. Grover as he embarks on a well-earned retirement, though he’ll certainly be missed by our team and the many patients whose lives he’s touched over the years.

Last week, we had the opportunity to celebrate Dr. Grover with a cooking class at Lakehouse Kitchens—a wonderful evening filled with great food, laughter, and memories shared together.

Thank you, Dr. Grover, for your years of dedication, compassion, and friendship. Your impact on Burtch Dental and our community will be felt for many years to come.

Wishing you nothing but happiness in this next adventure. Congratulations on your retirement! ❤️

As some of you know he has been off on a medical leave with a broken shoulder.
He’s learned that downhill biking after 50 is okay, but crashing is not.
He’s looking forward to being back in the office soon and seeing everyone again!

Brushing harder doesn’t mean brushing better.

In fact, brushing too aggressively can wear down enamel and irritate your gums over time. A soft-bristled toothbrush and gentle pressure are usually the most effective approach.

Think of brushing as cleaning your teeth carefully — not scrubbing a stain off a countertop.

Good technique matters more than force.
