Ashley attended MTI College and completed her Certified Dental Assistant diploma with honors in 2013. Ashley’s favorite area to work in is surgical dentistry, and she relishes the opportunity to connect with her patients and exchange life stories in the ops.

She enjoys playing curling and golf, going out camping, floating down the river with friends, and taking her dogs for walks or at the dog park.

We are pleased to welcome our new hygienist Megan Lamoureux to the Quail Ridge Dental family❤️

Megan has been a registered dental hygienist for 1.5 years and absolutely loves taking the best care of her patients with a gentle yet thorough cleaning.

She attended Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene where she graduated with high honours 🎓

In her spare time she loves hitting the slopes at Big White in the winters, and taking her dog on hikes and paddle boarding in the summers ☀️ ⛷

Good dental hygiene starts young! 👶🪥

Even before your child gets their first tooth, it is important to begin good oral hygiene habits. Gently wiping your baby’s gums with a wet face cloth is a great way to start. And then when teeth start to come in, use a small soft-bristled toothbrush with a smear (size of a grain of rice) of fluoride toothpaste.

Preventing tooth decay for your child is very important. Take your child to an oral health professional by age 1, or within 6 months of their first tooth coming in.
