🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 🧡

Today, September 30, we honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, and the families and communities who continue to carry their stories.

Truth and Reconciliation calls on all of us to listen, learn, remember, and reflect on the history and ongoing impacts of residential schools and their legacy.
At Villanova Dental Studio, we recognize that reconciliation is an ongoing journey. Today, we take time to listen, learn, and honour the truth.

🧡 Every Child Matters.

💗 The sweetest surprises! 🍩☕️

Every once in a while, a patient stops by with a little something for our team and today it was donuts and coffee!

These thoughtful gestures are absolutely not necessary, but please know how much they are appreciated and enjoyed by our entire team! ❤️ There’s nothing better than feeling appreciated by the people we have the privilege of caring for every day.

Thank you to our amazing patients for thinking of us and for always making our days a little sweeter! 🍩☕️✨
We truly appreciate you! ❤️

Braces for children aren't always easy at the beginning, but kids adapt to change much quicker than we often expect.

This patient did an amazing job with her expander, and now shes a few months into her phase 1 braces journey. Her favourite part?

Choosing different coloured power chains at every appointment! 🤍🩷💙

At her last visit, she picked two colours to match her birthday party theme—proof that braces don't have to be boring! ✨

Interceptive orthodontic treatment (Phase 1) isn't just about straightening teeth—it's about guiding jaw growth and creating the best possible foundation for a healthy adult smile. By addressing concerns early, we can often prevent more complex problems and make future orthodontic treatment easier, faster, and more stable.

Orthodontic expanders help create the space needed for permanent teeth to erupt properly, while Phase 1 braces guide tooth movement during the important stage when children have a mix of baby and permanent teeth.

Every smile is unique, and every orthodontic journey starts somewhere. We're so proud of how far she's come, and we can't wait to watch her smile continue to grow. ✨

Not interested in traditional braces or metal expanders? At Villanova Dental Studio we also offer Invisalign for children as well. 🦷

🤍 Complimentary orthodontic consultations are available. If you're wondering whether your child could benefit from early orthodontic treatment, we'd love to meet you!

📢 Attention CDCP Patients!

If you're covered under the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), it's important to make sure you've renewed your coverage.

CDCP plans have now expired, and if you haven't completed your renewal, your dental benefits may no longer be active.

If you have already renewed your coverage, please disregard this reminder.

Before your next appointment, please check the status of your coverage and renew your plan if needed. This helps avoid any unexpected out-of-pocket costs at your visit.

If you have any questions about your upcoming appointment or your coverage, our team is happy to help!
