Exciting news for the dental hygiene profession in Ontario! 🦷✨

Future scope of practice advancements for Registered Dental Hygienists may soon include ordering x-rays, administering local anaesthetic, and serving as Radiation Protection Officers.

These changes represent a huge step forward in improving access to comprehensive oral health care and advancing the role of dental hygienists across the province. We are so thankful to the CDHO and the ODHA for continuing to advocate for the growth and advancement of our profession and scope of practice. Exciting times ahead for dental hygiene! 💙
