⚠️IFHP dental coverage is changing
Starting May 1, 2026, eligible dental care will also have a 30% co-payment.

IFHP helps with emergency dental care, not routine cleanings or preventive treatment. Covered care may include an emergency exam, x-rays, urgent treatment for pain or infection, some restorations, and extractions.

CDCP Benefit Year & Renewal Info 🦷

The current CDCP benefit year ends on June 30, 2026, and the next benefit year will run from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027. All current coverage and co-payment levels remain in effect until June 30, 2026.

To avoid any interruption in coverage, all clients must complete their renewal by June 1, 2026. Clients will receive communication from the Government of Canada with renewal instructions. Prior to renewing, clients (and their spouse or partner, if applicable) must have filed their 2025 tax return and received their Notice of Assessment from the Canada Revenue Agency.

Clients who do not renew by the deadline will have their coverage end on June 30, 2026, and may be required to submit a new application.

Renewals can be completed through a My Service Canada Account, online at Canada.ca/dental, or by phone at 1-833-537-4342 (TTY: 1-833-677-6262).

Theresa is an experienced Dental Hygienist who enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and well cared for during their visits.

With many years of clinical experience and a background in teaching dental hygiene, she loves sharing her knowledge while keeping appointments relaxed and positive.

She believes dental visits should feel supportive and stress-free, and she truly enjoys getting to know her patients. 💙

Outside the clinic, Theresa enjoys coastal walks 🌊, spending time with family and friends 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, and appreciating everything Nova Scotia has to offer.
