Meet Natalie Ford, RPN, IBCLC

Registered Practical Nurse & International Board Certified Lactation Consultant

We are proud to welcome Natalie Ford to our team as our Lactation Consultant.

Natalie is a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with over 25 years of nursing experience and is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). For more than two decades, she has dedicated her career to caring for women, newborns and families through hospital programs, obstetrical offices and outpatient clinics.

Natalie’s approach to lactation care is evidence-based, compassionate and individualized. She understands that every family, baby and feeding journey is different. Her goal is to provide parents with the knowledge, support and confidence they need to make informed decisions that work best for their family—whether that means breastfeeding, chest-feeding, pumping, combination feeding or breastmilk feeding.

With a strong background in maternal and newborn health, Natalie provides impartial, supportive care without judgment, helping families navigate common feeding challenges and feel confident throughout their journey.

At Woodlawn Kids Dental, we believe supporting a child’s health begins long before their first dental visit. We are excited to offer families access to a knowledgeable and experienced lactation professional as part of our commitment to caring for the whole family.

Before the school year gets busy, make sure your child is ready with a back-to-school dental check-up.

Meet Dr. Dora

Think your dentist has to be all serious and boring? Think again!

Dr. Dora loves helping all of our teen patients—feel comfortable, heard, and confident about their smiles. She knows that every patient is different, so there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. Her goal is to make dental visits feel easy, judgment-free, and actually enjoyable.

Her approach is all about competent care, compassion, and connection—with current, evidence-based dentistry at the centre of everything she does.

When she’s not talking teeth, you’ll probably find Dr. Dora singing, hiking with her husband, or curled up with a good book.

Basically: dentist by day, singer/hiker/bookworm by…well, the rest of the time.

The Woodlawn Kids Dental Tooth Fairy made a special stop at Little Folk Montessori!

Our team had so much fun teaching the students about the important jobs of their incisors, canines, and molars. Using our giant teeth and toothbrush props, we learned how to brush away sugar bugs, floss properly, and keep smiles healthy and strong.

A big thank you to Little Folk Montessori for welcoming us into your school. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to visit again next year!
