A different kind of clean. ✨

Our air polishing system uses a gentle stream of warm water, air, and a fine powder to remove plaque, biofilm, and surface stain. It is gentle on enamel and exposed root surfaces, and it is safe to use around composite bonding and other restorations.

The erythritol powder we use is also anticariogenic, which means it helps discourage the bacteria associated with cavities while it cleans. Comfortable, thorough, and part of how we care for your teeth.

Our first year at The Happening and it did not disappoint.

Ever wonder how a crown gets made? 👑

This is our CEREC system, one of our favourite tools in the office. A traditional crown usually means two appointments, a temporary, and a couple of weeks of waiting. With CEREC, we scan, design, and mill your restoration right here while you wait. One visit, no temporary, no coming back.

It is not just for crowns either. CEREC lets us make inlays and onlays too, so we can often preserve much more of your natural tooth instead of reducing it down for a full crown. Conservative dentistry is always the goal, and this is how we deliver it while respecting your time.

A beautiful full mouth rehabilitation for our lovely patient by Dr. Joe. 🤩
Years of acid exposure had eroded and broken down this patient’s teeth, so we began the way we always do: with a comprehensive risk assessment to understand the cause, not just the damage.

A gum lift evened out her gum levels, her bite was stabilized, and crowns completed a smile that looks like it was always meant to be hers.

Every dental visit with us includes an oral cancer screening. But two minutes at home between appointments could matter just as much.

In this video, Dr. Alana walks you through a 12-step self-exam based on Eva Grayzel’s . You are looking and feeling for anything new: a sore that won’t heal, a red or white area, a lump, or a texture change.

Check your jaw, neck, and collarbone too. Signs of oropharynx cancer can show up outside the mouth first. One-sided ear or mouth pain, chronic hoarseness, an unusual sore throat, difficulty swallowing, or a hard non-tender lump in the neck are all worth taking seriously.

If anything persists for more than two weeks, come see us.
