FAQ’s About Dr. Sam’s Maternity Leave 🤍
It won’t be long until Baby Manoff is here and we have had a few questions lately! We thought we’d answer the most common ones! 😊
1️⃣ Who will be covering for Dr. Sam?
Dr. Nuhn will be covering while she is away! Some of you may already recognize him as he has worked in our office doing implants. She actually used to work for him when she first graduated as he was one of her mentors! He’s also her own dentist (yes dentists need dentists too 😂).
Dr. Nuhn is an amazing dentist who loves chatting with patients just as much as she does, and he’s looking forward to meeting lots of new faces in Grand Valley!
He will be available for regular checkups, emergency care, and any dental treatment needed while she is away.
2️⃣ When is Dr. Sam working until?
As we all know, babies are unpredictable! 👶
Her due date is July 11, and she hopes to continue working as long as she continues feeling well. 😊 If you did want to see her for treatment before she’s off we recommend booking soon as June will fill fast!
3️⃣ Will you still be accepting new patients while she’s away?
Yes! Dr. Nuhn will be able to see new patients during this time, and patients will continue with Dr. Sam upon her return.
4️⃣ What if I would rather wait for Dr. Sam to return for my treatment?
No problem at all! If your treatment is non-urgent and you would feel more comfortable waiting for her return, that is absolutely okay too. 😊
5️⃣ When will Dr. Sam be back?
The hope is to return in the fall! She has planned a back-office nursery to help balance life as both a mom and a dentist. Of course, timing will ultimately depend on how both mom and baby are doing ❤️
We thank our patients for being so understanding during this exciting time, and we can’t wait for Baby Manoff’s arrival! 🍼 As always, we’ll make sure to keep everyone updated if there are any changes to the timeline or office schedule. 😊
