There’s something amazing that happens at the end of a dental hygiene appointment, and most clients don’t even notice it. The whole body relaxes. Smiles seem bigger and brighter. Confidence increases. More importantly, overall health improves! Inflammation decreases. You just decreased your risk for gum disease, heart disease, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, respiratory infections, and the list goes on. It’s so much more than “just a cleaning”.

It’s been a fun week of whitening these beautiful smiles!

More importantly, I want to address the importance of reasonable expectations when it comes to teeth whitening. Our mouths are all unique and we all respond differently to the whitening process. Similar to applying bleach to your hair.

Natural teeth will always have a slight yellow hue. While we can lighten and brighten, “paper white” is difficult to achieve without causing sensitivity and is hard to maintain.

Healthy smiles are beautiful smiles. We’re happy to help you smile with confidence!

This handsome little man had his first dental visit today. While we may not have even picked up an instrument, something very important happened today. Building trust. The dental office can be an intimidating place for kids. I encourage parents to bring their little ones as early as they can to get familiar with the crazy sights and sounds, and become my new bestie! 🥰

This week I’ve had several conversations with clients about sinus issues and post nasal drip. Tis the season for congestion and mouth breathing, and you’ve all heard me say how bad mouth breathing is for your oral health.
