Last night, some of our team had the pleasure of attending Come From Away, and what a fantastic evening it was!

Spending time together outside the office is always special, and this show made for the perfect night. The incredible talent, heartfelt storytelling, and Newfoundland spirit shone through from beginning to end. It truly lived up to all the wonderful things we’ve heard—it did not disappoint!

Community Wellness Session: Canadian Dental Care Plan

Join us on April 29 from 2-3:30 p.m. at the Steele Community Centre (SHOFA) to learn more about the Canadian Dental Care Plan. Kathryn Maloney of Service Canada will share helpful information on the plan, renewals, and how to access supports.

This free session is open to those aged 50 and over, with snacks provided.

To register, call 709-651-5927 or visit the SCC Administration Office Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Space is limited.

Today, our team completed training on a new dental software designed to enhance patient care and improve communication. This upgrade will allow us to connect with patients more smoothly through additional options such as SMS/text messaging, along with our traditional email and phone calls.
