We get it. 💙

Booking a dental appointment is one of those things that can be so easy to put off.

“I’ll call next week.”
“It doesn’t hurt, so it can wait.”
“I have too much going on right now.”
“I’ll deal with it later.”

And then somehow… weeks turn into months.

If this sounds familiar, please know that you’re not alone. Procrastinating is a very normal human behaviour, especially when life gets busy or something makes us feel a little anxious.

At Pelham Hills Dentistry, there’s no judgment about how long it’s been or why you’ve waited. We’re simply happy you’re here — and ready to help you take care of your smile at your own pace. 🦷💙

Maybe today is the day to take that one small step.

📞 Give us a call and book your appointment. We’ll take it from there.

☕ Happy National Coffee Day! ☕

We love our coffee too… but our teeth might not love it quite as much! 😄🦷

Enjoy your favourite cup today, and remember: a quick rinse with water afterward can help keep those coffee stains from sticking around.

Coffee first. Smile always. ☕✨

Starting Monday with a little 80s fun! 🦷📼✨ Some of us were already rocking the big hair, bold colours and unforgettable 80s culture… some of us were just babies… and some of us weren’t even born yet! 😂

Either way, we’re taking the dental office back in time this week. Can you guess who actually remembers the 80s? 👀💿🕺

🦷 AI & Your Oral Health: Know When to GO, SLOW DOWN or STOP!

AI can be a great tool for learning about dental health, preparing questions for your appointment, or better understanding dental terminology. But when it comes to your individual health, AI should support your dental care — not replace it.

🟢 GO — Use AI to learn, prepare questions and organize your concerns before your appointment.
🟡 SLOW DOWN — Found information about tooth pain, bleeding gums or a treatment online? Bring it to us and ask, “Is this accurate for me?” Every patient and every situation is different.
🔴 STOP — Don’t rely on AI to diagnose a dental problem, interpret X-rays, change medications, decide whether treatment is necessary, or determine whether you can wait to seek care.

At Pelham Hills Dentistry, we’re always happy when our patients come prepared with questions. Technology can provide information, but your dental team can provide something AI can’t — an examination, your individual clinical history, and personalized care. 💙

Use AI to get informed. Use your dental team to make decisions about your smile. 🦷✨

Save this post for the next time you find yourself asking AI a dental question!

Cheers to another year of Pelham Hills Dentistry! 🥂🦷💙

This weekend, we traded our scrubs for sunshine, sips, and a whole lot of laughs as we celebrated our anniversary in beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake! 🍷☀️
From cruising around on the Paddle Pub 🚲🍻 to visiting some amazing local w**eries, it was the perfect way to celebrate another year together.

We work hard, but we also believe the best teams are built outside the office too. 💙 So grateful for this incredible crew, the memories we’ve made, and everything we’ve accomplished together.

Here’s to another year of teamwork, growth, great smiles…and maybe a few more glasses of w**e along the way. 😉🍷
