Please be advised that beginning April 7, 2026, Main Street construction will be under way. You may have to detour to reach the office. Please allow yourself sufficient time for alternative routing.

The Municipality of South Huron is reconstructing Main Street South from the Ausable River to Victoria Street in 2026. A full road closure of Main Street at the Ausable River is required to complete sewer work for one week in mid-April (exact dates will be released when available). During the full road closure, traffic will be detoured out Huron Street and Thames Road to Morrison Line and Airport Line. Trucks will be detoured around Exeter via Thames Road and Kirkton Road to Morrison Line for the remainder of the year.
