👻Hey Ghouls and Goblins! It's that spooktacular time of year again when we get to celebrate all things that go bump in the night. Who's ready for Halloween fun?! 👻

Get your costumes ready and dust off those 🎃pumpkin carving tools🎃 because we're going to have a frightfully good time this Halloween! I'm talking carving jack o' lanterns with creepy grins, 🍬making spooky snacks 🍭and sweet treats, telling scary stories by the campfire to send shivers down our spines, and of course 🎃🎃trick or treating 👻👻 until our buckets are overflowing with candy.

A radiant grin is a treasure that needs attention and care. Here are several dental hygiene tips for a healthy 🌟glistening 😁smile. Brush your teeth twice daily, each time for at least two minutes, using a soft-bristled toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste. Floss daily to remove plaque from between teeth and under gums. Use mouthwash after brushing to rinse away debris. Limit sugary drinks and snacks to reduce cavity-causing bacteria. Schedule regular dental checkups so that issues can be caught early. Consider 🦷teeth whitening🦷 treatments to achieve a brighter smile. If you have sensitive teeth, try a sensitivity toothpaste. It's that time when kids go back to school after summer break 😃📚. Establishing good dental hygiene habits is an important part of back to school routine. Brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste and flossing once daily can build strong foundation for healthier teeth and gums. Schedule dental checkups atleast once in 6 months so that any early signs of cavities or other dental issues can be caught before they become big problems. Remind kids to limit sugary snacks and drinks which can promote tooth decay. Serve more fruits and veggies after school instead. Investing in kids oral health now will help set them up for lifelong healthy smiles. Let's make this school year the one where we establish good oral hygiene as part of our daily routine!

The back-to-school season is upon us and Westview Dental wants to remind parents of tips for proper oral hygiene during this busy time. It is important for children to establish good brushing and flossing habits early on. Parents should make sure children brush their teeth for at least two minutes twice a day, preferably after breakfast and before bed. An electric toothbrush with a timer can help younger children. Make flossing part of the routine as well, once teeth start growing in between each other.

Schedule regular dental check-ups, even if no problems are apparent. Check-ups help detect cavities and other issues early when they are easier to treat. The dentist can also show children proper brushing and flossing techniques to reinforce the habits parents are trying to build.
