A healthier smile with a beautiful bonus ✨

One of our favourite things about dentistry is when we can improve a patient’s oral health, with the added bonus of improving their smile along the way.

This patient came to us with failing crowns at the margins, allowing bacteria to enter underneath and causing decay beneath the existing restorations. We addressed the underlying decay, improved the health of the surrounding gums, and replaced the failing crowns with restorations that improved the shape, proportions, symmetry and overall harmony of his smile.

The goal was health first — and the improved aesthetics were a pretty great side effect. ❤️

Back to school is NEXT WEEK! 🎒🍎 And as a mom, I feel like the countdown comes with two very different emotions… excitement for a little routine again 😅 and “What am I going to pack in these lunchboxes every single day?!”

I’m always trying to find snacks that are healthy, easy to throw in a lunchbox, and — most importantly — something my kids will actually eat. Because we all know that sending a perfectly healthy snack home untouched doesn’t exactly count. 🙃

So I put together a list of some of our favourite back-to-school snack ideas, with different kinds of kids in mind — whether you have a picky eater, a little sweet tooth, a crunchy-snack lover, or the kid who seems to be hungry ALL. THE. TIME.

As a dentist and a mom, I also love finding ways to make healthy choices feel realistic and doable for busy families. It doesn’t have to be perfect — a few simple swaps can make a difference.

Save this post for those mornings when you’re standing in front of the pantry thinking, “What can I possibly put in this lunchbox?” 😆

Five years. ❤️

Five years ago, we took a leap of faith and started this journey together. Looking back, we can honestly say it has been one of the hardest, most challenging, and yet most rewarding chapters of our lives.

There were days that tested us, moments when we questioned ourselves, and lessons we could only learn by living through them. But through all of it, we grew — not just as professionals, but as people. We gained experiences, perspective, resilience, and so much valuable life experience that we wouldn’t trade for anything.

What makes us most grateful when we look back isn’t just how far we’ve come, but who has been part of the journey along the way. To our incredible team, our patients, our families, our friends, our mentors, and everyone who has believed in us, encouraged us, challenged us, and supported us — thank you. ❤️

Some of you have been with us since day one, and some have come into our lives along the way. Every single person has played a part in making this journey what it is today.

Five years later, we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built, incredibly grateful for what we’ve learned, and even more excited for what’s still ahead.

Here’s to five years of hard work, growth, laughter, lessons, friendships, and memories — and to everyone who has been a part of it. 🥂

From vacation routines throwing off your brushing habits to the hidden dental traps in your favorite iced drinks, summer comes with a few unique challenges for your oral health.
