Some smile transformations are about more than just teeth—they’re about giving someone their quality of life back.

When Neil first came to see us, he was dealing with a severely collapsed bite, failing dentition, and constant discomfort. His teeth no longer had the space they needed, making everyday activities like eating and smiling a challenge.

Over the past year, we worked together to rebuild his smile. By strategically placing dental implants and collaborating closely with a denturist, we were able to stabilize his denture and restore both function and confidence.

Today, Neil is a different man. He proudly shows off his smile to everyone he meets, enjoys his favourite foods again, and lives free from the pain that once affected his daily life.

Cases like Neil’s remind us why we love what we do. While this journey took time, seeing his renewed confidence and happiness has made every step worthwhile.

This was a candid shot after a 5 hour veneer insert appointment. We were all tired and disheveled. I had fasted the morning of so I am standing there aimlessly while our amazing assistant Taylor sits our patient up, proceeds to clean her up with an essential oil infused warm towel and applies Vaseline to her lips (the final of probably a dozen applications throughout that procedure). I don’t look at our Google reviews enough (not as much as our team members anyway) and I was just blown away by the thoughtful, lengthy reviews our patients write about our team and the work we do. This is just a glimpse into our daily lives at Newbury. Dr.Ngai and I are very proud to have this amazing team where we always put our patients first and we genuinely lead with compassion and integrity. .brown74 .smith.54943 and @ Kortni! Meet Paul — the most adorable little vampire you’ll ever meet. 🧛🏻‍♂️

Paul traveled all the way from Nunavut just to be turned into a vampire by yours truly. The goal was a terrifying vampire photoshoot… but instead, we accidentally created the cutest vampire shoot of all time.

Apparently I’m now known as “the vampire lady,” and at this point I may be single-handedly breeding a vampire population in Edmonton. Everybody grab your crosses and garlic bundles 🧄!
