At Uptown Dental, we stand in solidarity with First Nations communities and all Indigenous Peoples. The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is an important opportunity for us to acknowledge the injustices experienced by Indigenous Peoples by listening to and learning from stories of survival and honouring the lives of the thousands who never returned home.

As we reflect on the past, we also recognize our responsibility to move forward with greater understanding, respect, and meaningful action. Uptown Dental remains committed to advancing Truth and Reconciliation by continuing to learn, strengthening relationships with Indigenous communities, and helping create a more inclusive future where the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of Indigenous Peoples are recognized and celebrated throughout our community, across our province, and throughout the country.

Back to school looks different for everyone new notebooks, fresh pencils, a new schedule, and that same little spark of “I can do this.” ✨

But one thing never changes: a pretty smile. The kind that shows up before you even say hello the one that makes hallways feel friendlier and Mondays feel a little less heavy. 😊

So today, pack your best energy with your lunch:
say hi first
sit with someone new
take the chance
and remember your smile is power.

Here’s to a year of growth, good vibes, and showing up as you are. 💛📚
