Hello everyone! 👋

The SHINE team hopes everyone is doing well during this holiday season. Each year, SHINE Dentistry raises funds for our Annual SHINE Sock Drive. The Sock Drive is an initiative to help support marginalized populations in the city of Edmonton during the winter, by providing them with hats, mittens, and socks 🧦❄️🦷 From November 19th to December 19th, 2025, SHINE will be accepting monetary donations in increments of $5, $10, $25, $50 and $75. The class which raises the most amount of money will receive a prize.

It gives dental and dental hygiene students the opportunity to gain more clinical experience, adapt to a workflow more alike that of a practicing healthcare professional, and learn some tricks from beyond the school environment—all while filling a critical health need for the underserved populations of Edmonton. I feel very privileged to be a part of the SHINE clinic."

Until December 20th, 2024, SHINE Dentistry will be raising money to support those in need in Edmonton. Bundling up and staying warm is vital in these cold Edmonton winters. However, for many, this is not possible, and clean socks, mitts, and hats go a long way!
