September was a busy month for birthdays at River City Dental! 🎂🥳

We celebrated FOUR birthdays this month - and apparently our favourite way to surprise each other is with cake.. right in the middle of seeing patients. 🤣🦷

Needless to say, LOTS of cake, cupcakes and cookies were consumed this month...
(Don't worry, we know some pretty good dentists ) 🧁🍰🎂

Happy birthday to our September crew - Ericka, Georgette, Dr. Burnett and Vanessa! 🎉🎈

Brushing your teeth every day is important—but technique matters, too! 🪥
Upgrade to a powered toothbrush with a pressure sensor and brush for two full minutes, twice a day. Don’t forget the gumline, floss daily, and replace your brush head every three months.
Small changes can make a big difference in preventing plaque buildup, cavities, and gum disease. 🦷✨

🦷 Has it been a while since your last dental hygiene visit?

A routine dental hygiene visit does more than leave your teeth feeling fresh. It helps remove plaque, monitor your gum health, and detect small issues before they become bigger concerns. For many patients, a dental hygiene visit every six months is an important part of maintaining a healthy smile.

From 1996 to 2026.

30 years later, and they are still developing smiles 📸🦷

Dr. Zarsky and Georgette have shared three decades of dentistry, friendship and teamwork. Together, they have helped shape River City Dental into the clinic it is today.

Some things get better with age - and these two are proof!!!

Congratulations on 30 years of making River City Dental feel like home.

Did you know most people brush their teeth too fast? ⏱️ The golden rule: 2 minutes, twice a day, and visit your dentist at least twice a year. Pro tip: use a timer or an electric toothbrush with a built-in sensor. Small daily habit, big smile results! 🦷

DID YOU KNOW? 🦷

April is Oral Health Month!

Here are some fun dental facts to tickle your brain!

• Humans produce roughly 25,000 quarts of saliva in a lifetime — that’s enough to fill TWO swimming pools 😲
• It takes 43 muscles to frown, but only 17 to smile 😊
• A knocked-out tooth can start to die in just 15 minutes — placing it in milk can help keep it alive longer!

Take this as your reminder to show your smile some extra love this month 💙
