The NBDS Conference was one for the record books, with over 560 delegates, 53 exhibitors, and outstanding speakers from across Canada.

Last Friday marked a special milestone for us - our first-ever event in Nova Scotia - and what a way to kick things off!

In partnership with Patterson Dental, we hosted a CE Day in Halifax (Dartmouth, NS), bringing together 85 dental professionals for an engaging day of learning and connection.

We were joined by an outstanding group of speakers:
• Karl Schmidt on the future of dentistry through cloud and AI integration
• Kathy Purves on strengthening practices with IPAC best practices
• Jennifer Turner on achieving success with a full-circle approach to implant care
• Steve Sarty on ergonomics and building sustainable, healthy clinical habits

Vendredi dernier a marqué une étape importante pour nous - notre tout premier événement en Nouvelle-Écosse - et quelle belle façon de commencer!

En partenariat avec Patterson Dental, nous avons tenu une journée de formation continue (CE) à Halifax (Dartmouth, N.-É.), réunissant 85 professionnels dentaires pour une journée riche en apprentissages et en échanges.

Our Spring Lecture Series was a huge success across all three locations! 🌱🦷

From Moncton with Dr. Nach Daniel, to Saint John with Dr. Eric St-Germain and Dr. Matt Murphy, and Fredericton with Dr. Martin Bélanger — it was incredible to see so many professionals come together to learn, connect, and elevate their practice.

We had a great time at the career fair at Centre scolaire Samuel-de-Champlain in Saint John last Thursday! 🦷✨

Our team had the opportunity to connect with students from grades 9–12, sharing insights into careers in dentistry and dental hygiene, and answering their questions about life in the field. From dental assisting to becoming a dentist or dental hygienist, it was inspiring to see so much curiosity and enthusiasm!

We’re proud to support an incredible initiative led by students at McGill University’s Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences.

Since 2021, students have come together through McGill Dentistry Gives Back to raise funds for the Mobile Dental Clinic - a program that delivers free basic dental care and oral health education to communities across Montreal in partnership with local organizations.

ECDG was happy to contribute $2,000 in support of this meaningful cause. Access to care matters, and we’re honoured to play a small role in helping expand these essential services to those who need them most.

Nous sommes fiers de soutenir une initiative exceptionnelle menée par les étudiants de la Faculté de médecine dentaire et des sciences de la santé de l’Université McGill.

Depuis 2021, les étudiants se mobilisent à travers ''McGill Dentistry Gives Back'' afin d’amasser des fonds pour la Clinique dentaire mobile - un programme qui offre des soins dentaires de base gratuits et de l’éducation en santé buccodentaire à travers Montréal, en collaboration avec des partenaires communautaires.

ECDG est heureux d’avoir contribué à hauteur de 2 000 $ à cette belle initiative. L’accès aux soins est essentiel, et nous sommes honorés de pouvoir, à notre façon, soutenir ces services pour les personnes qui en ont le plus besoin.
