Here are some of the most common questions we get about botox!
Does it hurt?
Injections are done with a very tiny needle and are not painful.
How long does it take?
The injections will only take a few minutes, but it will take 3-10 days after the injections to notice the effects.
How long does it last?
The effects usually persist for 3-5 months. It is recommended to have treatment repeated when the effects wear off. With repeated treatment, the effects will likely last longer.
Are there any risks or side effects?
Side effects are rare, but include transient headache, swelling, bruising, pain during injection, twitching, itching, numbness, asymmetry. Very rare but reported effects are temporary dropping of eyelids or eyebrows. Certain medications can increase the risk of bruising. All side effects are temporary, as Botox® is not permanent.

Early childhood caries (ECC) is a common and severe form of cavities found in very young children (0-4 years of age). Without treatment, decay can spread deeper into the tooth, causing pain and infection and even damage to the underlying adult tooth. The baby tooth or teeth may need to be removed.
Causes for Early Childhood Decay
-Diets high in sugar
-A high frequency of snacking and/or frequent meals as well as sticky and sugary snacks.
-Sustained use of the baby bottle or sippy cup (especially at bed time)
-Lack of tooth brushing and flossing
-Limited access to fluoridated water
Please call or book an appointment if you have any questions
