MEET DR. STRICKLAND

🦷 What made you want to become a dentist?
I’ve wanted to be a dentist since my early teens. I enjoyed working with my hands through small-scale woodworking projects and was drawn to the healthcare field. Dentistry seemed like a natural fit, combining health, science, and art.
✨ Is there a particular area of dentistry you’re especially passionate about?
I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry, but I do have a particular passion for reconstructive dentistry—specifically bone and soft tissue grafting and implant therapy.
😁 What do you find most rewarding about treating patients?
The most rewarding aspect of dentistry to me is eliminating pain, restoring function, and helping patients regain confidence in their smiles.

Wild Horses by The Rolling Stones or Night Moves by Bob Seger.
🌎 If you could pick anywhere in the world to visit, where would you go?
I’d love to visit Southeast Asia. I’ve been to Europe and the Caribbean, but I’ve never explored any part of Asia. I particularly enjoy Thai cuisine and find the Buddhist philosophy and culture refreshing.
That said, I’m also completely content spending time on a hunting trip in a tent in the wilderness! 🏕️
