With the fall comes colder weather and the cold and flu season.
This year, the cold and flu season will be complicated by the coronavirus. How can we tell if that sneeze or scratchy throat is the common cold, the flu, or COVID-19? To help is the graphic below that was first published in England. Please note that a temperature of 37.8 C is 100 F.
Without an accurate COVID test, it is not possible to confirm a diagnosis based only on symptoms. We hope that this graphic will help you distinguish between COVID-19, the common cold, and the flu. It is important to call your doctor if you are concerned and especially if serious symptoms such as a high fever or difficulty breathing persist.
