New Dentist Announcement! We are proud to announce that Dr. Vlad Podskalniy will be joining the Collingwood Family Dental team as our main dentist! Here's a little bio on Dr. Vlad:
Dr. Vladyslav Podskalniy, “Dr. Vlad”, graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Western University’s Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, with Distinction. Before dentistry, Dr. Vlad also completed a Bachelor of Medical Sciences Degree with Western Scholars & Honors Specialization in Microbiology and Immunology with distinction at The University of Western Ontario in London, ON.
After completing his education, Dr. Vlad ventured out to Newfoundland & Labrador to provide vital dental services to a diverse patient base in underserved communities. This allowed him to gain valuable experience with all aspects of Family Dentistry and with a wide range of oral health conditions and emergencies, as well as patient behaviours, disorders, and disabilities. Dr. Vlad continues to invest in himself and his team in order to better serve his patients at Collingwood Family Dental.
Dr. Vlad is not only a dentist, but an avid outdoorsmen, lifelong learner and published researcher! In his spare time, Dr. Vlad enjoys fitness, snowboarding, swimming and a range of sports from pickleball to soccer. He is now proud to call Collingwood his home and is excited to serve the community at Collingwood Family Dental. Dr. Vlad is currently Accepting New Families & Patients of All Ages!
Dr. Sarah is currently on Maternity Leave, but will be returning in September. She may still be around from time to time at Collingwood Family Dental, but will mostly be found at our sister clinic Peaks Family Dentistry Collingwood.
