A little dental fact with your matcha 🍵
Matcha naturally contains fluoride because tea plants absorb it from the environment. Since matcha uses the whole powdered tea leaf, levels can be higher than some brewed teas.
This doesn’t mean you should avoid your matcha… or start drinking it for your teeth.
It’s simply a reminder that fluoride isn’t only found in toothpaste or drinking water — it can occur naturally in some foods and drinks too.

Safe Consumption: Most sources suggest that 1 to 2 cups of matcha daily are entirely safe. However, drinking 3 or more large cups daily—especially when combined with fluoridated tap water and toothpaste—can push your intake toward excess.
