Support local!
Had a great visit and then dinner with my friend Linda at Grimo Nurseries. We went to primary and highschool together and I was looking for some advice on what new trees to plant. The nursery name came up twice in that's year by other growers from other ends of Ontario. Pretty cool! I got a lesson on some tree options that would work with my type of soil (Willoughby topsoil) and taste tested some nuts. They also do great gift ideas at Christmas!

Spring is in the air. These are our nesting boxes behind the building. The birds were quicker than me this year and were trying desperately to empty out the old nest themselves. I helped them along by cleaning it out and within the day they were busy building their new nest. Next I will not forget to do the clean up in the fall.

What is a dental post?

A dental post is a small rod inserted into a tooth that has had root canal therapy done. It is usually made of carbon fiber because it can flex and bend under pressure and it can be more easily blended into the tooth because of its colour. It does not strengthen the tooth but rather help support restorative material where the tooth structure has been severely compromised. This is not the same as an implant, where the entire tooth has been lost.
