What is a frenectomy? 👶🦷

A frenectomy is a quick procedure used to release a restrictive band of tissue beneath the tongue or upper lip. Depending on the individual, a tongue or lip tie may affect feeding, speech, oral function, or dental development.

At Chilliwack Oral Surgery, we perform laser frenectomies in a comfortable setting with detailed guidance for recovery and aftercare.

It’s often life-changing for patients dealing with discomfort, difficulty eating, or low confidence due to their smile.

For Ranjot, the journey started with daily challenges.
