"I do not want to go to the dentist." Sound familiar? 😊

You are not alone, and there is plenty you can do before the appointment even starts. Keep your words simple and positive. We like telling children we are going to count and brush their teeth, and maybe take some pictures too. Reading a fun dental storybook together or letting your kiddo bring a favourite stuffed animal can make the visit feel a whole lot friendlier.

Our team takes it slow, explains things in kid-friendly language, and lets your child set the pace. Every little one is different, and that's exactly how we approach each visit.

Was the 9th Annual Trunk or Treat a success? Why yes, we think it was! ✅
We couldn't have asked for better weather or a better turnout at this year's Trunk or Treat! So many fantastic costumes, smiling faces, and lots of Halloween fun!
A big thank you again to Little Lake Locals for organizing and sponsoring such a wonderful community event. We had a blast being part of it!

Thank you once again to our friends at for organizing tomorrow's Trunk or Treat at the Chestermere Library parking lot from 12 noon until 3:00 p.m. The weather should be *perfect* and we can't wait to see all the scary costumes, princesses, Paw Patrol pups and superheros. Halloween candy is part of the fun, and we are not here to take it away. 🎃

Here is the thing though: not all treats stick to teeth the same way. Sticky and chewy candies like taffy, caramels and gummies tend to cling to grooves long after the last bite. Slow-dissolving options like hard candies and lollipops keep sugar in the mouth longer, too. Chocolate, on the other hand, melts and clears away faster, especially with a glass of water afterward.

Let your kiddo enjoy the haul, then rinse with water and brush before bed. That little routine makes a big difference.
