Dear SCPG patients,

In Jason Kenney’s announcement, he is allowing dental clinics to open starting Monday. We are certainly looking forward to getting back to work and seeing everyone that we have missed so much. However, at this time the Alberta Dental Association and College has directed us to continue the suspension of non-emergency and non-urgent services until May 14th, or until phase 1 starts.

Currently, we are awaiting further guidance from the Alberta Dental Association and College. However, we want to ensure you that we are doing everything possible to prepare, but it will be a gradual re-opening. We are working hard to anticipate the guidelines and get the supplies we will need in order to provide safe, and comfortable care.

We will do our best to keep you up to date on changes in the appointment experience. We are expecting a change in scheduling protocols, health pre-screening and other measures that will be required to ensure your safety and well-being.

We ask for and appreciate your patience during this time. We have had to cancel many appointments, and we know that there is a strong desire to get your treatment back on track as soon as possible. We have kept a very accurate record of all missed and cancelled appointments, and we will reach out as soon as we can to rebook you.

We have appreciated your support and understanding during this time, and hope that this message finds you and your family well.

Dear SCPG patients,

Effective immediately, in accordance with the Alberta Dental Association and College there is a mandatory suspension of all non-emergency dental treatment and services.

If you are having a true dental emergency, which may include oral-facial trauma, significant infection, prolonged bleeding or pain which cannot be managed by over-the-counter medications, please call the office at 403-278-5446 for further instructions on how to get an appointment.

Our intention is to allow this disease process a chance to level out, reduce the strain on our medical providers, keep our vulnerable healthy, and allow life to return to normal as soon as possible.

We will be periodically checking for any changes and will be sure to reach out with updates and to get your appointments rescheduled. We will be keeping the latest updates on our voicemail recording as well.

Candidate must be friendly, hard working, technically proficient, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. The position is part-time (No evenings or weekends are required) and would include chair-side assisting, sterilization, and simple front end tasks.
