Wait before you brush. 🦷 A little timing can make a difference to your smile. 🦷
After acidic foods and drinks like citrus fruits, tomatoes, soda, and sports drinks, the acids in your mouth can temporarily soften your tooth enamel. Brushing right away can cause extra wear on that softened surface.
Give it about 30 minutes before brushing. This gives your saliva time to neutralize the acids and your enamel time to recover.
A small change in timing can help protect your enamel over time.
