🦷✨ Why Stainless Steel Crowns? ✨🦷

Stainless steel crowns are strong, durable caps designed to protect your child’s baby teeth after a cavity or damage. They help preserve the tooth’s function, prevent further decay, and maintain space for adult teeth. Plus, they are quick to place and long-lasting!

When children have severe decay, a stainless steel crown is usually recommended as there is not enough tooth structure left to support a filling. Crowns are also strongly recommended if a tooth has a development defect to increase function and strength of a tooth.

🦷 Keep Those Smiles Bright! 🦷

Did you know that brushing alone can’t reach all the tiny spaces between your teeth? That’s where flossing comes in! 🧵✨

Flossing helps remove food particles and plaque from between your teeth and along the gum line, which brushing might miss. This simple step is crucial in preventing cavities and gum disease, keeping your child’s smile healthy and bright!

Tips for parents:

1. Start flossing your child’s teeth as soon as they have two teeth that touch.
2. Use string floss or floss sticks. Have your child laying down on a flat surface to approach from a better position.
3. Gently slide the floss between each tooth, forming a “C” shape to hug the tooth and clean just below the gum line.
4. Make it a fun and engaging routine—consider using flavored floss or singing a song while flossing! 🎵

Remember, healthy habits start early! Encourage your child to floss daily for a lifetime of healthy smiles. 😁
