Hi friends and followers, I thought it was fair to give you an update on Welcome Wellness since I’ve been receiving messages and appointment requests.

It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that my practice will be taking a long pause while I move to Vancouver Island, and focus on my health and well-being.

I will no longer be offering dental services in AB for the time being, but I will be accepting virtual Myofunctional Therapy clients starting mid January 2024. If and when things change, I will be notifying you via social media and/or email (for existing clients).

If you are looking for another mobile dental hygiene provider or an independent dental hygienist with a storefront or van practice, please reach out and I will connect you with someone amazing in your area.

Oral hygiene, holistic nutrition, and airway health are my passions so expect to see more educational posts in time. Until then, thank you for the continued support and for two years of FUN! I have really enjoyed working with the Calgary and surrounding communities 🦷✨

The 30 Day Habit Elimination Program was designed with the client in mind. Using positive reinforcement, trigger identification and behaviour modification, the client will feel motivated to accomplish the goal of eliminating a noxious habit.

The best time to implement the program is when the child/client feels ready. The program involves the client, the parents or caregiver (teachers included) and me, a myofunctional therapist.

Summer is a perfect time to start the program because you won’t have to involve teachers andthe child can return to school inthe fall without a sucking habit.

I love what I do outside of the traditional dental office setting ✨

Did you know we have monthly dental clinics at Shalem with Tanya from Welcome Wellness Dental Hygiene. Our residents can book an appointment for a check-up and cleaning right here in the building. Tanya can also arrange for denturist care on-site and will refer out to a dentist if needed.
