Whitening + 6 porcelain veneers.

This patient came in with four older composite veneers that had seen better days. They sat too far forward, threw off the balance of her smile, and just didn’t fit her face anymore.

Here’s how we approached it:

1. Whitening to establish a bright, natural base shade (you always want to whiten before placing veneers so everything matches).

2. We removed the dated composites and replaced them with six conservative porcelain veneers that are designed to sit properly, complement her lip line, and suit her smile.

The result: Teeth that look like they belong to her- brighter, better proportions, and way more natural than what she walked in with.

Same day Fix.

Unfortunately our patient broke her tooth while eating. In a situation on like this no one likes to roam around with half a tooth missing. We free hand built up her tooth in an hour to make sure she could go back to living her life. Next is to fix the old composite on the neighbouring tooth.

The after photo is immediately after treatment- in 72 hours this will look even better as the tooth rehydrates.

Refresh.

Revitalizing composite veneers is something I’ve come to enjoy. In this case the margins of the old veneer were starting to fail, the colour was off and there was a cavity forming in the backside. After exploring the options with him, our patient decided a composite veneer would be his preferred way forward. The gums will heal, and the colour match will improve over 72 hours as the teeth rehydrate.
