Habits like prolonged thumb-sucking or breathing through the mouth rather than the nose can actually affect how a child's gum tissue and jaw develop over time. These aren't things most parents think to mention at dental visits, but they're exactly the kind of thing we look for.

🎳 Friday rewind: SmileTown Burnaby Team went BOWLING! 👀💙

Who knew our team was this competitive?! 😂

Last Friday, the SmileTown Burnaby crew traded teeth for strikes and headed to the bowling lanes for some much-needed team fun! 🎉

There were strikes 🏆
There were spares 🙌
There were definitely some gutter balls… 🤫😂
And most importantly, there were LOTS of laughs!

Safe to say, we had an absolute ball. 😉🎳💙
