Digital mouth scans instead of impressions with 3D iTero Scanner

When it comes to developing customized restorations (i.e., dental crowns, veneers, dentures, etc.), our 3D iTero Scanner is highly effective and easy to use. Capable of capturing high-resolution images that are far more detailed than regular X-rays, this device eliminates the need for cold, messy dental putty. Instead, we can insert the handheld wand into the mouth to scan teeth and gums, creating a three-dimensional model that is projected onto a nearby computer monitor. Once the visual scan is available to view, our dental team can make necessary adjustments before sending the model off to lab technicians for restoration creation.

Renewals will open from April 15 to June 1, 2026. Members can renew their coverage as soon as they file their tax return and receive their 2025 Notice of Assessment from the Canada Revenue Agency.

The back to school dental visits include the examination of the whole mouth, teeth, gums and jaws. We monitor jaw growth and development and make orthodontic recommendations as needed.

Preventive measures are discussed at these dental visits. We recommend sealants to protect newly erupted teeth, the use of fluoride to strengthen enamel and restorative procedures when indicated.
