Gummy bears: cute, chewy... and rough on your teeth.
They're sticky, which means they cling to your teeth (and get stuck between them) way longer than you'd think. And that extended contact time, combined with their acidity, wears down your enamel and feeds the bacteria that cause cavities.
Doesn't mean you have to give them up completely, just rinse with water after, and don't skip your regular checkups.
Book your next cleaning today.

That viral "lemon + baking soda" teeth whitening hack? Please don't.
It sounds harmless - it's just lemon and baking soda, right? But citric acid softens your enamel, and baking soda is abrasive. Combine them, and you're essentially sanding down softened enamel.
The problem: enamel doesn't grow back. Once it's gone, so is your natural protection against sensitivity and cavities.

Why Does Smoking Stain Your Teeth?
Smoking can leave noticeable yellow or brown stains on your teeth. Ni****ne and tar can build up on the surface of your enamel and become trapped in its microscopic pores over time.
The good news? Professional teeth whitening can significantly reduce many of these stains and help restore a brighter smile.
Want to refresh your smile? Talk to your dentist about professional whitening options!

Alcohol can affect more than just your overall health—it can also impact your teeth and gums. Many alcoholic drinks are mixed with sugary sodas, juices, or energy drinks, which can increase the risk of tooth decay. Alcohol can also contribute to dehydration and dry mouth, reducing saliva’s natural ability to help protect your teeth.
If you drink alcohol, remember to stay hydrated and take good care of your oral health!
