A first visit happens when the first tooth comes in, usually between 6 and 12 months of age.

This early year’s visit accomplishes two things:

First, it establishes a dental home for your child; somewhere they feel safe, cared for and comfortable going as they grow.

Second, this visit starts the journey in protecting your child’s smile now and for the future.

If your child has turned 1 and no teeth have erupted, it is also best to visit the dentist to check in on what those pearly whites are up to.

🦷 Sealants are a tooth brushing safety net. Even with careful and consistent brushing it is difficult and sometimes impossible to clean the tiny pits on certain teeth. And believe us, we know even the best tooth brushers can miss spots!

🦷 Sealants can last for many years if properly cared for.
The application of sealants is quick and comfortable. It only takes one visit to paint sealants on.

We are supporting The Children’s Aid Foundation of Halton this year for donation of mittens and socks. We made our goal of 50 pairs of mittens last year. With your help, we would like to smash that goal!

Founded in 1990 the Children's Aid Foundation of Halton is the charitable arm of the Halton Children's Aid Society (Halton CAS). Our purpose is to provide life-changing opportunities, programs and resources to children, youth and families who are receiving services from the Halton Children's Aid Society.
The activities we provide are additional to the essential child protection services funded by the Ministry, enhancing the work of Halton CAS and enriching the lives of those in need.

Annually Halton CAS supports an average of 5,000 children and youth in Halton, of those just 3% are placed in foster care, which means the majority of work takes place in the community endeavoring to keep families together by strengthening and empowering children and caregivers alike.
