Grateful to attended the ODA Spring Meeting 25 with my team this year. It was an opportunity for us all to learn and share with our friends and colleagues. I ran into Dr. Tanaka (2nd photo) who is 79 years old and is still practicing and is excited about dentistry! So inspiring 🙋🏻‍♂️

In case you needed a few inspirations. These are gum grafts that I performed for patients who wanted to keep their teeth.
It’s pretty much that simple.

We can go slow but we have to have a plan. Think in this today.

This case for my patient too 2 years to complete.
His main concern was to get his smile back.
⭐️ We started with Adult Ortho to correct his bite and realignment of his teeth.
⭐️ We continued with gingival grafts to address the gum recession. An implant was placed at the missing front lateral.
⭐️ Porcelain veneers completed the smilemakeov.

It was all worth it, my patient can’t stop smiling.

The fear is real, and it’s okay to feel it. You’re about to face something that’s bigger than you and every part of you wants to avoid it.
Remember, bravery isn’t the absence of fear - it’s feeling the fear and moving forward anyway.
You’re already winning just by being brave enough to show up.

The gum graft is the most resisted procedure at my clinic when it is the most BENEFICIAL.
So many of my patients tell me afterwards that it was nothing and they wished they got it done sooner.

This case was all love 💕
My very young patient came in with broken teeth, missing teeth and crooked teeth. He said he hasn’t smile for as long as he can remember.

We got to work:
• Invisalign ✅
• Gum Graft ✅
• Dental Implants ✅
• Porcelain Veneers ✅

There’s no right time, just time and what you do with it.

We all travel our own paths and we learn to figure it out in our own way. We will have doubts and reasons and fears but we will never have time.

Start what you need to start and do what you need to do. Keep working on yourself, prioritize yourself over and over.

Now is as good a time as any 🖤
